The World Pickleball Association (WPA), through World Pickleball Tournaments (WPT), is building a world-class professional tour and advancing pickleball from grassroots participation to the global stage.
At the helm is John Gill, a PPR and IPTPA Certified Coach and respected tournament director with an extensive background in professional coaching and event management. As the founder and President of the WPA, John has directed over 45 competitive pickleball events and is known for his leadership in organizing high-level tournaments that meet international standards.
He also hosts the “Aussie John Pickleball” (@aussiejohng) YouTube channel, where he shares insights and training to support the growth of players at all levels—from beginners to elite competitors.
