Refund & cancellation policy
Last updated 25 August 2026
Everything sold on this site is a digital service that begins delivery immediately. This page sets out when a refund, credit or make-good is available, and how to ask for one.
1. Advertising placements
Advertising is pre-paid and self-serve. Because inventory is reserved and rotation begins as soon as a campaign is approved, purchases are non-refundable once the campaign goes live, including unused showings on a campaign you choose to pause or stop early.
A full refund is available if you cancel before your campaign has served its first impression, or if we reject your creative during moderation and you do not wish to replace it.
Full detail on slot mechanics, moderation and forfeiture is in the Advertising Terms & Conditions.
2. Technical downtime and make-goods
If verified platform downtime prevents delivery of showings you paid for, we extend the campaign or add the shortfall as make-good showings at no cost. Make-goods are our remedy for downtime in place of a cash refund.
3. Tournament entries
Entry fees are set and controlled by the organiser of each event, and that event’s published withdrawal and cancellation policy applies. If an organiser cancels an event outright, the organiser is responsible for refunding entries; where WPA collected the fee, we return it to the original payment method once the organiser confirms the cancellation.
4. Duplicate or incorrect charges
Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts and unauthorised transactions are refunded in full as soon as they are verified. Contact us rather than raising a chargeback first — it is faster, and a chargeback may suspend your account while the bank investigates.
5. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with your account email, the campaign or event name, and the date and amount of the charge. We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and decide within 10 business days.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law and equivalent protections in your jurisdiction, where a service is not delivered as described.
